I'm a storyteller, artist, and mother who has spent the last twenty years capturing the beauty of real people and the moments that make us feel alive.
My photography is rooted in connection and honesty. I’m drawn to natural light, movement, and the subtle expressions that reveal who someone really is. I believe the most authentic expressions come from photographing real people. I enjoy photographing real couples and families whose genuine connections bring the story to life.
My focus is always on creating imagery that feels truthful, artful, and emotionally resonant. I’ve photographed over 300 weddings across South Africa and beyond. From Johannesburg to Angola, Namibia, Mozambique, and the DRC.
Weddings taught me everything about light, intuition, and presence. They’ve trained me to work under pressure and make creative decisions in an instant, finding the best angles and light in any situation, seeing possibility where others might not, and turning fleeting moments into art. Those years shaped my instinct for storytelling: how to guide people gently, build trust quickly, and draw out something real and unguarded.
My work celebrates diversity, colour, and emotion. I love photographing people in city spaces, creating imagery that feels alive - honest but elevated, natural yet refined. Whether it’s a couple sharing a quiet moment or a group bursting into laughter on a crowded street, my goal is always to capture something true and beautifully human.
As a single mother and entrepreneur, I’ve learned to move through the world with resilience and empathy. Every project is personal to me; I pour myself into creating photographs that move people, that feel like a memory and a dream at once.
